ZincFos is a high-concentrated formulation that includes Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc. ZincFos is used to remedy the deficiency of zinc and phosphorus at early stage of plant and to restore plant’s nutrient reserves for next season after harvest.
Phosphorus is a needed element to plant’s root development, energy tranport in plant and to produce enzymes. Phosphorus is mobile in plant but in the soil it becomes less mobile. In high pH soils, Phosphorus combines with Calcium and creates different forms of calcium phospate. It makes hard to plant to take Phosphorus from soil. Therefore the plant needs Phosphorus feritilziation and in some special occasions the plant should supported by Phosphorus applications from leaf. Phosphorus deficiency causes empurpling in the plant’s body and leafs. Its development becomes harder and root development becomes limited. Plant’s buds develops weaker than normal.
Zinc takes part in many enzymes. When Zinc is deficient in a plant, plants are more tended to create a dense root system. Density of root system stops growth of upper parts of the plant, reduces tillering of grains, lowers the scape in length. In the works that collabs Tubitak and Nato-Agriculture Ministry it is proved that %50 of turkish land is very low on zinc.
ZincFos not only applied to leaf but also can be applied with drip systems to soil because of its acidic character. This increases intake of Phosphorus from soil by plant.
